“For me, fur has always been a natural choice.”

          Meet Wendi Ricci, owner of Raw Concepts Inc., who has been designing and remodeling all types of furs with over 35 years of experience. She graduated from Ryerson University’s School of Fashion winning a scholarship, which landed her a career in the thriving Fur Business.  She has worked in every facet of the business hence has endless experience in design, manufacturing, buying and retailing of furs. Currently, Wendi designs for over 20 furriers across North America.

          She is active in promoting the Fur Business and participates annually in Fur Conventions including The North American Fur and Fashion Exhibition, and The Hong Kong International Fur Fair.  Wendi has been a professor at Ryerson University for many years, teaching the Fur Design Course at the School Of Fashion.

          She currently resides in Toronto, ON with her factory in Scarborough.
